"This is unlike the story it was written to be"

Remember that time my alarm didn't go off so I took a nap and missed by 2:45 math class? yeah, I've officially done that for the first time this semester, I'm amazed it took me so long. 

 I love Carla Bruni and Emilliana Torini, they are both perfect studying music. I have an intense amount of studying to do, to the point where I probably should not be on the internet at all. 

Once again, for the 4th year in a row, I will not be going to Mardi Gras because I have a rehearsal that I can't get out of. Seriously, I have lived in this area since I was 16 and I have never once been. Instead I will be spending the weekend with the sister and her fiance who are coming to visit for the weekend. ah well, should still be fun. 

I am not a fan of valentines day, not because I am single (I was not single last valentines day and I still was not a fan) but because everyone makes such a huge deal about how depressing it is, seriously if one more person asks if I want to attend "singles awareness day" on facebook, I am going to be very annoyed.  It's a catholic saints feast day, Saint Valentine was a priest. He was single his whole life. Now I'm not super religious, I'm not saying we should only celebrate it as a holy day, I like chocolate as much as the next person (lies, I hate chocolate, but you get my point) but seriously the reason it's so depressing is because everyone makes it that way by over doing the whole "I am single on valentines day" thing. Seriously the single people I know make a bigger deal out of valentines day then the people I know in relationships. 

If you are single this one day it is not a reason to freak out and spend the entire day watching sleepless in Seattle and eating ice cream straight from the container. Actually that sounds fun, you don't need a reason to do that. I will join you in that, but not because I'm single, and not because it's valentines day.
